The Christmas Tree Alphabet counted cross stitch pattern was adapted from an antique American needlework alphabet from the early 1900s. The alphabet forms a holiday Christmas tree. The green letters are decorated with round red ornaments and golden yellow decorations. The letter Z is used as the tree trunk. This pattern uses only whole cross stitches, and uses 4 thread colors.

Color Variation:
If using green aida cloth, switch the floss colors in the designs with the following DMC floss colors: #3865 (winter white) for the green lettering, #321 red in place of the original red color, #676 gold in place of the original gold, and Ecru in place of the brown floss.
