About The Designer
I started cross stitching early; probably somewhere in my early teenage years (or maybe even before that?), so cross stitching has been part of my life for over 40 years.
I started designing patterns for myself in my 20s, and stitched them for my own enjoyment and to decorate my home. In 2004, I decided to create Happiness Is HeartMade, and began selling some of my designs online, through my own website.
In early 2006, I started selling to Local Needlework Shops through a major distributor, but only for a couple years.
Then, after several years of life getting too busy for cross stitch designing, and allowing the Happiness Is HeartMade website to just sit and sell my existing designs, I decided to begin actively designing counted cross stitch patterns again… and I am so glad I did! It is such a joy to design patterns, and also to get to know so many wonderful people through cross stitch.
Happiness Is HeartMade has grown into a large assortment of patterns, and continues to grow as new patterns are designed and sold online and through Local Needlework Shops. I hope you enjoy browsing through our designs, and find something that you would like to stitch. Keep checking back, as new designs are released regularly!
