The Pomegranate Alphabet Sampler counted cross stitch pattern was designed using elements from various antique needlework charts, supplemented with original elements.
This design is beautifully displayed year-round, but it can also be used as a Christmas stitching design, because of the popularity of pomegranates in Christmas decorations (especially their historical use in Christmas and New Year’s decorations).
This design uses only whole stitches, and uses 4 thread colors. The chart is done in colored squares with symbols, for easier stitching. The pattern Thread Color Chart provides DMC thread color numbers.
