The Strawberry Dog cross stitch design is part of the Dog Days Series by Happiness Is HeartMade. This sweet design is full of ripe red strawberries, hearts, and a couple lace-style medallions with white and yellow flowers. A strawberry in a heart-decorated basket is sitting next to Dog.
The Strawberry Dog download comes with both a black-and-white chart with symbols, and a color chart with symbols.

Fabric recommendation:
Zweigart Rustico or Charles Craft Fiddlers Cloth in Oatmeal, in 16 or 14 count.

If you would like a charcoal gray (almost black) dog, you can stitch Dog using DMC 3799, and stitch the heart, ear, and eye using DMC 3866.
If you would like a light yellow lab, you can stitch Dog using DMC 739, and stitch the heart, ear, and eye using DMC 434. (Be careful with your fabric color with this option, making sure both Dog and the white flowers are going to show up on the fabric you choose. The image below uses a simulated light gray blue aida fabric. Make sure your finished project will look good with your aida color choice on this one. I just didn’t find an aida color that I really liked for this color of Dog in this strawberry design.)
