The As For Me And My House counted cross stitch pattern stitched in shades of green and terra cotta. It has glass bead highlights in two shades of green and two shades of terra cotta. “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15, King James Version, KJV.
*Note: If you are going to embellish the design, you will also need a beading needle and seed beads. These are carried by most craft stores, and are available through many craft and needlework stores online.
The pattern uses:
16 dark terra cotta beads (any matching seed bead will work, but the sample uses Mill Hill #G02037 – Sheer Cinnamon Seed Bead, size 11/0, 2.5 mm)
5 light peach beads (any matching seed bead will work, but the sample uses Mill Hill #G02035 – Shimmering Apricot Seed Bead, size 11/0, 2.5 mm)
44 dark green beads (any matching seed bead will work, but the sample uses Mill Hill #G02055 – Brilliant Green Seed Bead, size 11/0, 2.5 mm)
12 light green beads (any matching seed bead will work, but the sample uses Mill Hill #G00525 – Light Green Seed Bead, size 11/0, 2.5 mm)
